Kozija Ćuprija and the Miljacka Canyon Walk
The Goat's Bridge is a graceful 16th-century Ottoman stone bridge just east of the city. The easiest way to reach it is the Dariva walk: a flat riverside path that starts near Vijećnica and follows the Miljacka river up its green canyon. In about 30 to 40 minutes you leave the city behind completely.
Local tip: Go in the late afternoon and stop for coffee or a drink at one of the small places along the Dariva path on the way back.
Fit it in: Start right after visiting Vijećnica.
Practical: Free. Flat and easy. About 2 km each way.
