Who to contact

For this website, contact the bosnia.world team at [email protected].

Enquiries

We use the name, email address and details you submit to respond to your request and discuss the service you asked about. This may involve steps before a contract or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, as applicable. Everything you send through a form on this site is stored in our email tool, MailerLite, and passes through our host, Netlify. We reply from our inbox at Zoho. We keep your group tour or property request so we can follow up on it, and we do not forward it to partners. We only send you our news if you sign up for the monthly email or tick “Send me news from bosnia.world” on a form, and every news email has an unsubscribe link. Please do not submit identity documents, criminal records or other sensitive information.

Travel Guide purchases

Lemon Squeezy handles payment for the Travel Guide and shares your name, email address and order number with us so we can give you access. When you download the guide as a PDF, your email address and order number are printed in small type at the foot of every page and saved in the file’s document information, so each copy can be traced to its purchase. We create the PDF when you download it and do not keep a copy, but we note the date of your first download, because purchases cannot be refunded after the PDF has been downloaded.

Optional analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to count page visits, which site or campaign link visitors came from, and their country. Plausible uses no cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not identify individual visitors. With your permission, we also count section views, listing opens, buy-button clicks and successful enquiries. It stores only daily totals by event and section, for up to 90 days. We never send form contents to analytics. The server receives your IP address when connecting; temporary abuse-prevention records are held in memory for up to ten minutes. Your host may maintain separate operational logs, which must be reviewed before launch.

Cookies and withdrawal

You can decline analytics and still use the site. at any time. Withdrawing stops future collection; earlier aggregate totals cannot be linked back to you. We also disable optional analytics when a supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is active. See the cookie notice for durations.

Sale, sharing and your choices

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use advertising cookies. A future change would require an updated notice and any legally required consent or opt-out mechanism before it starts. Analytics consent is not permission to sell data.

Retention and your rights

Enquiries are stored in our email system until deleted under the operator’s retention policy, which must be finalised before launch. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, request portability, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Email [email protected]; we may need proportionate verification of your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

Providers, transfers and children

Hosting, email and any future checkout provider may process information in other countries. Their identities, locations and any required transfer safeguards must be confirmed before launch. No checkout or payment-data collection is active in this preview. The site is intended for adults; we do not knowingly seek children’s personal information.
