Igman is the forested mountain directly above Sarajevo's southwestern suburbs, next to Bjelašnica. It hosted the ski jumping and Nordic events at the 1984 Winter Olympics, and the two big ski jumps at Malo Polje still stand. They are abandoned now and one of the most photographed Olympic ruins in the city. Igman also has small ski runs, forest walks and mountain restaurants, and its road was a vital lifeline into the city during the siege.
