Why visit Neretva Rafting?

The upper Neretva is one of the cleanest and most beautiful rivers in Europe, with water so clear and green it looks unreal. Rafting trips start upstream near Glavatičevo and run down through the canyon toward Konjic, past cliffs, forests and small rapids. It is a good trip for beginners and families as well as for people who want some whitewater.

What to expect

  • Difficulty: Mostly gentle to moderate rapids. Spring brings higher water and stronger rapids.
  • Length: Usually a half-day to full-day trip, including transfer, safety briefing and often lunch.
  • Water: Very cold all year. Companies provide wetsuits, helmets and life jackets.
  • Swimming: Guides usually stop for swimming and cliff jumping in calm sections in summer.
